RISING FREEDOM
TOWER, NYC: [January 2012] -
With the new year upon us, some old and new
images surfaced in my mind about countless
photographic adventures I've been on and still
enjoy visiting. One such place is the Bay of New
York. It was, is and will always be, one of the
most outstanding panorama of planet Earth to me.
To witness sunrise and
sunset in the extraordinary and magnificent
landscape of Manhattan, is always a thrill for
me. For many years I've worked and lived close
the Big Apple. Now living about an hour and one
half away by automobile, I continue to visit for
I feel the necessity to explore new visions of
the city and continue to devote my love to
capture images of the majestic skyline. In
many ways it also reminds me of the days of when I was
visiting my parents in Brooklyn.
The metropolitan area
provides so many photographic opportunities. The
passion and wonder seen through my eyes gives a
new meaning to my devotion. Each image chosen to
exemplify the valor of art photography is
absolutely unparalleled in my memory because the
variety of photographic opportunities do nothing
to mar it's grandeur, sublimity and loveliness.
Today, the memories I
have of when I spent countless hours from the
New Jersey side, as well as from of Manhattan
itself, to photograph what has become my
profound legacy of an immortal landscape, ruined
by the brutal destruction of the Twin Towers and
a nucleus of buildings by the terrorists. The
new Freedom Towers are both impressive and full
of new vitality. When you stand and glance from
either Jersey City, N.J. or Liberty State Park
or Ellis Island - The Freedom Towers gives us
hope in our growth as a nation that is high in
spirit and rooted in a fundamental love for
Freedom and Liberty.

WINTER JEWELS
:
Every season renews itself with the splendor of
it's vibrant colors. As I look into the eyes of
nature I see the magic of her splendor unfold
before my own eyes with this most recent image
of the "Winter Jewels." Emerging from below
zero temperatures, the "Winter Jewels" represent
the magic of a geometrical wonder.
In a more spiritual
sense, their value is as that of diamonds that
glisten the sun's warmth on such a cold, yet
ever refreshing surface. I am truly inspired for
they give me abundant wealth of the heart and
provide the knowledge of fresh visions as I
contemplate future photographic adventures.
After photographing
the Winter Jewels, I knew in my heart that this
moment would never be same with the passing of
time. I therefore treasure every experience
knowing that when life is of the essence, it
shines even as it shrinks.

SPLENDOR IN THE
DESERT : I'm committed to having
a new photo on my Website on the monthly bases.
And in
appreciation for the spectacular beauty
contained and preserved in America, this month's
"Splendor In The Desert" indeed is another
image of a perfect wilderness located in the
State of Arizona, abundantly famous and known as
National Monument!
The low angled bright light cast by the sun at
the end of the day, provides the essenza of
color, fused into the ancient landscape all
throughout the glorious native rocks, derived
from the rich iron content - the more the iron content the
deeper the red appears.
The dramatic light brings subliminal emotions to
rest before my eyes, when I record images in my
soul, while the light dances before the textured
landscape in a long state of zen: which, in my
native language we treasure that as, un
gloriouso momento nirvano.
